At the Hirschengrün, sustainability isn’t an add-on but it’s woven into everything we do. Our city quarter was built using resource-saving wood-hybrid construction, with locally sourced wood that stores CO₂ and lasts for decades. A photovoltaic system on the roof generates solar power, while geothermal energy keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter which is efficiently and responsibly.

During your stay, you’ll also be part of our low-impact concept: You’ll sleep powered by 100% green electricity, enjoy rooms with energy-saving switches, drink fresh tap water instead of bottled water, benefit from careful waste separation and plastic-free solutions. Our waste management system reduces food waste, and your room is cleaned using eco-friendly, biodegradable cleaning products.

Regional, Seasonal & Organic: Pleasure with Purpose

Our breakfast offers homemade dishes, seasonal dips, a wide selection of delicious and wholesome organic pastries from our local organic bakeries and herbs from our own garden. Our courtyard is more than a garden. it’s a small green oasis right in the city. Here, you’ll find native, insect-friendly plants and vegetable beds with old varieties. You might even recognize some of the herbs from the garden on your breakfast plate.
